The Bay Area is a breeding ground for music. Hip hop, Indie, Punk, we've got most (if not all) kinds of talent here. This blog is for promoting bands, venues, listing upcoming shows, and all that good stuff. There's a lot of stuff yet to be discovered by you and I, so, why not start here? You may find something you like, or you can help others find something they like.
If you've got a band, or just really like a band and want to promote it here, you can email me at baylivelocal@gmail.com. Include a link to the band and credit any pictures, videos, or music that you want posted, it'd also be nice to know your tumblr name.
This blog is run by a native San Franciscan who just loves music (that would be me. You can check out my personal blog http://www.thisisthefirstday.tumblr.com
